Editorial standards

GLP1Ledger covers approved medicines that people pay a great deal of money for. What follows is how we decide what goes on a page, and what we refuse to put there.
Where our facts come from
Effectiveness comes from published trials, named on the page so you can read them yourself. Facts about a medicine come from its approved labelling. Prices come from the manufacturer's own published figures or the provider's own terms — never from a summary of a summary.
Where two good sources disagree, we show both and say which is more recent. Where a widely repeated figure has no source we can find, we say that instead of repeating it.
Prices carry a date
Every cost figure on this site states the day we checked it. This category re-prices constantly — self-pay programmes, coupons and eligibility rules have all changed several times in a year — and an undated price is worse than no price, because it looks current when it is not. If a figure here is out of date, that is a fault and we would like to be told.
The line we do not cross
We answer information questions and decline decision questions. What a trial found, what a programme costs, what the label says, what happens when you stop — those are ours. Which medicine you should take, at what dose, and whether it is right for your body belong to you and your clinician.
We report dosing as journalism. Where a figure appears on this site it carries its source — a label, a trial protocol, a formulary, or what sellers and forums circulate — and the date we read it. We never tell you what to take. Nothing here is a protocol, a schedule or medical advice.
Our job is to make that conversation with your clinician better informed, not to have it for them.
How we cover providers
When we review a telehealth provider or a programme, we say what is included and what is not, which medicine you actually receive and from which pharmacy, the real monthly total rather than the headline price, what happens at renewal, and how to cancel. Every review names something the provider does not make obvious. A review with nothing critical in it has not been done properly.

Corrections and money
glp1ledger is published by Sherdas LLC, an independent company, and our coverage is independent of the manufacturers and providers we write about. Some links earn us a commission; they are marked, and no commission, advertiser or provider can change what a page says about price, evidence or cancellation terms. Accuracy reviews are dated on the page. When new evidence changes an answer, the page changes and says so — we correct rather than quietly edit. Reach us through the contact form.
